KUALA LUMPUR, 23 June 2020: The 16th edition of Export Furniture Exhibition (EFE)
is scheduled to take place from 10 – 13 March 2021 at Kuala Lumpur Convention
Centre.

Originally scheduled for 9 – 12 March 2020 and postponed to 27 – 29 August 2020
due to Covid-19, the organisers- EFE Expo Sdn Bhd took a decision to cancel EFE
2020 after taking into the account the significant disruption of international travel and
movement control due to the pandemic.

EFE 2021 will be the most promising and well anticipated show by Malaysian furniture
manufacturers and the overseas’ buyers. The show has taken a big step forward which
is almost 30% bigger as compared to 2019’s event. Over 400 manufacturers from
Malaysia and the region will occupy 45,000 sqm trading floors to welcome quality
buyers from over 140 countries attending every year, at Kuala Lumpur Convention
Centre.

EFE 2021 will showcase a comprehensive range of furniture from bedroom to living,
kitchen, children, office, outdoor, hotel and furnishing accessories. Many international
brands will be here to give buyers and visitors a complete in-depth representation of
what’s available in the furniture and furnishings industry.

A new addition to EFE 2021 will be the “Office Furniture Hall”. Covid-19 will no doubt
change home office and layout in business premises worldwide. Prominent furniture
manufacturers and exporters such as Versalink Marketing Sdn Bhd, Nexus Office
System Sdn Bhd, Wysen Industry Sdn Bhd,Apex Office Furniture Exporter Sdn Bhd
and Flexoffice Sdn Bhd will be showcasing their latest top quality designs and brands
to cater to this new normal of social distancing at the work place.

In response to the disruption of trade businesses conducted in person, EFE has on 26
June 2020 introduced ‘Business as usual with EFE Online Exhibition’- a platform for
sourcing for new business partners and an array of furniture. In addition, EFE Business
Matching was introduced on 20 July 2020 to explore and connect with new and existing business partners before meeting them in person at the forthcoming EFE.

The organizers are confident that EFE 2021 will not only be a productive experience
for international buyers and visitors, but it will set the benchmark even higher as the
must visit furniture marketplace every year in Southeast Asia and one of the biggest export platforms for Malaysian furniture. A robust B2B platform for buyers to interact with suppliers where great opportunities, partnerships and prosperity awaits.
