Danish design brand Hay popped-up with a stunning design accessories market in Melbourne last weekend and is here to stay until September. The pop-up, which features products and merchandise handpicked by Mette Hay, promises a visual feast for design lovers.

Look forward to a wide selection of accessories, ranging from lighting and textiles to stationery and glassware. The brand is particularly popular for their contemporary designs using quality materials in combination with joyful and straightforward aesthetics.

What’s really interesting is that the pop up takes inspiration from a supermarket, with aisles of shelving laden with selected merchandise.

The Hay Accessories Market is in fact a concept-installation that was initially launched at the Milan Design Week in 2014. Following its success here, it subsequently went on to whip up a storm at renowned global design fairs and at several locations around the world like MOMA in New York and the Glyptotek in Copenhagen.

The Hays Accessories Market is at Level 3, Cult Melbourne Showroom, 680 Elizabeth Street. Opening hours: Weekdays – 8.30 am – 5.30 pm, Saturdays: 10.00 am – 4.00 pm.
