When Australia’s new home and lifestyle show, Global Home + Lifestyle, launches in June 2020, it will be the only trade show in the country to exclusively show international suppliers of home and lifestyle products.
Created by one of Australia’s most experienced international trade show organisers International Exhibition and Conference Group Pty Ltd (IEC Group), Global Home + Lifestyle is set to become the premier platform in Australia for global sourcing in giftware, home décor and lifestyle products.
The show will bring more than 300 global exhibitors to the International Convention Centre Sydney and is expected to attract approximately 3000 national and regional trade buyers including importers, speciality retailers, wholesalers, sourcing agents, interior designers and decorators, amongst others.
Showcasing the best in home and lifestyle products from around the world, Global Home + Lifestyle will be co-located with China Clothing Textiles Accessories Expo and will occupy more than 8,000 sqm of gross floor space. The combination of these two events will provide opportunities for Australian, New Zealand and other buyers from the Oceania region to better navigate the international supplier market and connect directly with international manufacturers.
IEC Group CEO Marie Kinsella says there is a major opportunity for international manufacturers and suppliers to use the show to penetrate the Australasia region and expand their business footprint.
“Australian and New Zealand trade buyers and industry professionals have been waiting for a show just like this to source new products and meet new suppliers from around the globe. As the only event to bring international suppliers of home and lifestyle products to Australia, this is a unique opportunity for these suppliers to connect with retail and wholesale trade professionals in Sydney,” Ms Kinsella said.
With an array of interactive features and a strong learning focus, the inaugural Global Home + Lifestyle will host Global Sourcing Seminars, Global Business Matching, a VIP Buyer Program, welcome and networking functions plus a trend gallery.
Exhibit categories include home furnishings and textiles, linen and bedding, décor and outdoor, smart home, giftware, travel and recreation, furniture, kitchenware, tabletop, celebration and occasion, body/spa/fragrance, and lighting and lamps.
