Interior addicts, design devotees and those with the home reno bug will be spoilt for choice when over 100 designers, architects, stylists, home builders, trades, product suppliers and special guests from around the country come together for the Reno + Design Show returning for its second year at the historic Brisbane Showgrounds from April 4-5.

The Reno + Design Show is back in 2020 with a new name and a new line-up, following the huge success of its inaugural event in July last year. Previously titled the Reno Home Show, Brisbane interior designer and creative director of the event, Renee Watson, said the new name better reflects the range of exhibitors and the beautiful aesthetics homeowners are looking for when it comes to renovating or updating their homes.

“Our homes need to be practical and suit our modern lifestyles but they also need to feel good. You don’t need to spend a fortune or loads of time to make your home look and feel amazing. You just need a few creative ideas, a little inspiration and some good advice to help you on your way,” Watson said.

Over the two days, visitors will have the chance to talk face-to-face with exhibitors, gain practical experience at interactive workshops and styling sessions, and learn more about home renovation and design through panel discussions and Q&A events with a who’s who of design gurus including Charlie Albone of Better Homes and Gardens, Lee Talbot of mavenHOME, Kerrie-Ann Jones of The Stylist, Lucy Glade-Wright of Hunting for George, Katherine Persoglia of Property Before Prada, Jen Bishop of Interiors Addict, Amelia Lee of Undercover Architect and Queensland’s own Ania Forster and Kasia Clarke of Zephyr and Stone and Marianne Taylor of The House Detective.

“Our exhibitors and workshops will really help visitors to find a look they love along with practical and innovative solutions to help create their dream home,” Watson said.

New to the program this year is the Meeting Zone where visitors can talk directly with special guests, and the Micro Marketplace where they can pick up unique handmade and artisan homewares. They take place alongside the Conversation Zone, Workshop Zone, Styling Studio and Coffee Zone.

Among the exciting range of exhibitors at this year’s event are designers including Aesthetic Pools & Landscape, AM Interior Studio, BeKKa Design, CG Design Studio,
CU Designs, Dion Seminara Architecture, Earthborne By Design, Fluid Design, Garsden & Clarke, HERRA Design, Jensen Designs, KBDI, QIDA, Sourced + Sorted, and The Outside Perspective; trades including Axiom Construction, Bamboo Building Products, Colorbond, Consolidated Turfing,
Comoda, Increation, KARDA Constructions, QConcepts, Spencer Constructions, Thomas and Spencer Kitchens, and Toscano Constructions; and product suppliers including Assa Abloy, Blushing Ivy Home Fragrance, Carmine & Teal, Custom Vanity, Donna Delaney Prints, Homemaker the Valley, InSinkErator, James Hardie, Lume Outdoor Furniture, Open Enclosure, Sunday Society, The Flooring Co., The Shop Front Collection, Thibault & Donaldson, and Universal Media.

The Reno + Design Show is expected to attract 8,000 visitors over two days with something for everyone all under the one roof.

“Whether they’re homeowners or renters, first time renovators or experienced house flippers, the Reno + Design Show has you covered,” Watson said.
