Established in the Sixties in Spain, since its inception the ADI FAD Awards has always deserved attention to excellence in design. The prize is awarded every two years and for 2020 the Delta Selection included 360 Spanish designers, from which around a hundred products came out.

At the proclamation of ADI FAD Interior Furniture Design Awards 2020 in Barcelona on last November 24, the Valencian Santiago Sevillano Studio was awarded bronze for the Kapoor armchair designed for the Spanish company Annud.

THE ANNUD BRAND

Annud is a new corporate brand born from a chair factory, which boasts a long tradition in Valencia. This family-run company produces chairs, seats and furnishing accessories (tables, extendable tables, etc.), exclusively in wood, which is the material closely linked to the company’s cultural heritage.

IDENTITY AND SOUL OF A SEAT

The armchair Kapoor is part of a seating collection with the same name, which comprises chairs, armchairs, poufs and tables.

The creative concept refers to an elegant, strong and at the same time light, pleasantly essential piece of furniture, which makes it suitable for use in retail and contract environments.

Kapoor’s architectural identity combines with an intimate and embracing soul and is expressed through the game of a metal tubolar connecting the padded seat and the support parts.
