Page Thirty Three is the Sydney-based design studio that have been reinventing the face of Australian home wares since they formed in 2010. Describing their range of objects for the home and office as ‘functional artworks’ their covetable collections marry both form and function and have gathered somewhat of a cult following. Indeed, its not hard to see why – all of their work is both designed and made in Australia and the care and consideration in every piece is palpable.
Inspired by a range of influences from popular culture to ancient rituals, Page Thirty Three’s collections may vary from season to season but are consistent in their ability to surprise and delight, and their new Use Your Illusions collection is no exception. A standout piece from the new collection, the Concrete Stratosphere Lamp, is the covetable lighting accessory that is ready to work and play in both the home and the office.
A solid half cylinder concrete exterior with a light sabre (yes, light sabre) interior lamp, the lamp has a free-flowing structure that allows the exterior portions to be arranged as you please, allowing for unlimited customisability options. Inspired by the popularity of Page Thirty Three’s Bluestone Stratosphere lamp, the new Stratosphere uses a concrete exterior to emulate the clean and luxurious feel of Australian Bluestone, at a price point more accessible to design lovers everywhere.
