Sunbrella, Ballard Designs partner on indoor performance upholstery line

Performance textile leader Sunbrella and home furnishings retailer Ballard Designs announce the launch of the retailer’s first collection of performance fabrics for indoor upholstery.

Ballard Designs Performance Fabrics by Sunbrella, available at BallardDesigns.com, features more than 100 fabrics with patterns and textures created for interior spaces.

screenshot_1“Ballard Designs is known for European-inspired designs and furnishings that its customers can truly live in,” Kimberly Peoples, specialty accounts manager at Sunbrella, said in a release. “This collection of Sunbrella upholstery fabrics for indoors speaks perfectly to that need for a beautiful, liveable home.”

The two companies have a long-standing partnership, beginning with Ballard Designs offering Sunbrella fabrics for outdoor living. Today, Sunbrella is the exclusive fabric for the retailer’s outdoor collection, officials said.

Headquartered in Atlanta, Ballard Designs is a multi-channel retailer offering more than 500 customizable pieces from finish to fabric.
