HC28 Cosmopolitan is a new contemporary collection with original, distinctive and luxurious design. The high-quality pieces are suited for urban living and are ideal as standalone pieces or as a full suite in homes and apartments.

HC28 launched in Australia 2016 and quickly established its stellar reputation for affordable and contemporary furniture for today’s urban lifestyle. Combining fine European design with efficient manufacturing, HC28 has responded to the increasing demand for premium contemporary furniture by a discerning design-savvy audience by releasing HC28 Cosmopolitan.

HC28 introduced the Cosmopolitan collection in late 2018, reinterpreting luxury in a fresh, minimalist and modern style. The collection includes sofas, chairs, tables, desks and bedroom furniture that can be purchased as standalone pieces, as part of a suite or mixed and matched with other Cosmopolitan products.

Cosmopolitan includes a large range of seating, some of which have complementary beds, sideboards and tables. The Uovo collection has smooth, fluid lines and distinctive modern shapes. Sofa arms and bedhead splay up and out; the egg-shaped dining chair has smooth, round surfaces; and the armchair has a back that wraps around to the arms to create an enveloping form. Uovo also includes two round dining tables, one in lacquered metal with a spiralling pedestal base, and the other with four legs and a timber and marble top. The coffee table has an organic form with a smoot triangular tabletop on three legs.

The Lonja collection is inspired by the spiral columns of the gothic church La Lonja de la Seda in Valencia, Spain. The Lonja sofa and bed have soft, puffy, pillow-like forms; the timber sideboard has an elegant marble top; and all have fine champagne-coloured legs.

The Bol sofa and chair reinterpret art deco forms in a contemporary way with plump, rounded shapes and smooth upholstered curves. Match the bed with the Anni bedside table, which also has a sophisticated and modern art-deco-inspired form with rounded timber structure and lacquered surfaces. The Round sofa is also plump and round, with arms and seating hug each other with fluid lines and curves. The Citti sofa and bed have a strong, concise form based on geometric shapes and quilted upholstery.

Two sectional sofas have versatile, adaptable forms. Michel is a sectional sofa with clean, modernist lines and a double-layer base. Folia is a sculpted sectional sofa inspired by the shape and veining of leaves. It has a solid form with leaf-shaped arms and playful stitching detail.

For a cosy and relaxing chair, Poma is a contemporary interpretation of the classic wingback with a beautifully sculpted shell.

Two stools have unique personality and design. Pulo has a rounded, quilted cushion reminiscent of a flower in bloom, while the distinctive Ovo is a contradictory fusion of surfaces and can be used as side table or stool.

When it comes to storage, Graf is a sculptural collection comprising sideboard, cabinet, bedside table and coffee table that fuse different timbers in an asymmetrical, faceted composition. The Cresta sideboard also has an unpredictable design with multiple materials and folded lines to create a visual sense of light and shadow.

The Graphic sideboard and cabinet have a clean, simple design. As does the Largo range, which includes sideboard, console, desk and bedroom vanity, all raised on an elegant metal base.

For dining with family and friends, Miami is a luxurious, sophisticated dining table with a natural marble top, champagne-coloured frame and striking rhythmic structure.

The Cri side table and coffee table is light and sophisticated with a marble top set within a round stainless-steel frame. In contrast, Plan has a bold rectangular shape with a sled base. The multifunctional coffee table has drawers on the sides and the option of solid timber tabletop or complementary marble and wood. The Layer side table is perfect for the end of the sofa with two layers of marble resting on a golden stainless-steel frame.
