Meir won the award against over 1,000 entries from more than 65 countries, for their Lavello Kitchen Sink range based on world-leading innovation, functionality and design. The award was presented at the Winners Gala event at the Guggenheim Museum in Spain on October 14, 2019.
Lavello has a range of high quality, stainless-steel coloured sinks which are coated in cutting-edge nanotechnology and finished in PVD coating.
The Architectural MasterPrize organisation, based in Los Angeles, recognises and acknowledges the greatest architectural product designers and manufacturers around the globe, with their mission to advance the appreciation of quality architectural design. The winners are selected by an esteemed jury of the world’s leading architects, academics and industry experts.
The international awards seeks to celebrate the ingenuity of products and materials that make great architecture possible and shine a light on those who create functional, sustainable and innovative products.
Rick Bazerghi, Meir Australia CEO says, “Our goal was to create something that was both unparalleled in quality and stunningly beautiful. This goal was realised in 2019 when Lavello was born.”
Combining elegance and innovation, the sinks are unparalleled in quality, and indispensable for the modern home or apartment.
The range features three unique finishes; brushed gold, nickel and gunmetal and are available in a number of sizes including single and double bowl choices.
In addition, Lavello sinks are paired with matching coloured waste strainers.
Lavello sinks are crafted using 1.5mm thick 304-grade stainless steel throughout the entire sink area, ahead of industry standards of 1.2mm and are available in under-mount or top-mount applications.
Each sink is also fitted with heavy duty sound-absorbing pads to reduce vibrations and noise.
The outstanding 15-year warranty is a testament to the superior craftsmanship that goes into each piece.
Lavello sinks are now available to order through Meir stockists globally.
