Australian brand Zuster symbolises a legacy of quality design and detailed craftsmanship. Embodying three generations of Dutch family heritage, the elite design-house presents its first outdoor furniture collection.

The GEM collection brings the luxurious Zuster experience outdoors. The creative vision of Designer Director Wilhelmina McCarroll builds on the semi-precious stones and marble from the Embellish and Jewel collections, combining a natural material aesthetic to create a perfect outdoor entertaining space.

Dutch for sister, Zuster designers Wilhelmina McCarrol and Fluer Sibbel are exactly that. The two sisters strive to design pieces with intuitive function infused with provenance and heirloom appeal. The bespoke collection consists of statement café, lamp and outdoor tables to enrich any outdoor space.

Zuster asserts at the heart of their collection is the hand. Individually crafted and expertly shaped, Zuster experts use only quality marble and granite, drawing on the creative vision of Design Director Wilhelmina McCarroll.

The GEM collection is a piece of art, carved out of solid Silverware marble, Cararra marble and granite, supported by galvanised powder coated steel.

Partnering with entrepreneur Louis Li and architects Carr Design Group, Zuster brings its GEM collection to the Mornington Peninsula’s newest luxury designer hotel, the Jackalope. Conceived by the top creative minds in the business, Li and Carr Design Group, Zuster works closely to create bespoke furniture that reflect Li’s passion for art, design, architecture and extraordinary experiences.

The series fills Jackalope’s 46 guestrooms, hotel bar and outdoor areas with a sense of formality and grandeur. Already established as the 2017 Hotel of the Year, New Hotel of the Year and Regional Hotel of the Year by the Australian Gourmet Traveller. The pieces look and feel like pieces of art, something Design Director Ms McCarrol asserts was very important through the design process. Authentic beauty and innate luxury – Zuster adds refined taste to the luxury hotel.

The opening of the Jackalope also launches Zuster’s Embellish collection. The range creates bespoke furniture solutions for luxury hotel spaces, formal living quarters and high end corporate environments. The design-house has not only extended itself beyond living and outdoor spaces, but into the realm of executive business and luxury travel.
